One Road Ice Cream Company, Tirau

Passing through Tirau? Be sure to make a stop at One Road. All their ice cream is made with fresh cream, the sorbet is created with fresh fruit, and it’s all made on the premises. You’ll find One Road at 52 Main Road (on the left heading north, opposite the big sheep).

Juicy Ice Cream, Kumeu, Auckland

Located at 505 State Highway 16 in Kumeu, Juicy has something for everyone – from creamy gelato, fresh sorbets, and real fruit ice cream to good coffee for those who prefer something a little hotter.

Got a sweet tooth? The NZ Fudge Farm dessert cafe is worth a stop. Not only does this haven of deliciousness – located at the Town Basin marina – offer one of Whangarei’s largest selections of handmade chocolates, fudge, and sweets, they also make some pretty mouth-watering desserts using fudge sauces, gourmet ice creams, and all sorts of yummy toppings.

Lady Jane’s, Rotorua

Not sure what flavour you fancy? Lady Jane’s on Tutanekai Street in Rotorua has over 40 to choose from – from traditional hokey pokey to white chocolate and raspberry and Anzac coconut cookie.

Having served up their tasty treats for more than 30 years, this ice cream parlour has become something of an icon in the area.
