The recent Covi RV & Outdoor SuperShow 2026 at Auckland Showgrounds proved a drawcard for those keen to explore the latest in motorhomes, caravans and outdoor living
With a strong focus on new model launches for 2026, these debuts created a real sense of momentum in the industry, with brands unveiling everything from compact, manoeuvrable motorhomes to fully equipped, off-grid-ready caravans designed for extended touring.
Highlights included the big reveal for the Maxus RV range in New Zealand (from RV Super Centre); the hotly anticipated arrival of Elddis Autoquest Apex motorhomes (from TrailLite Group); the launch of new compact caravan range Ocean View; the first Avan motorhome and campervan in New Zealand (from Rugged Kiwi Caravans); the New Age Campervan launch (JB Caravans); and Wingamm motorhomes from Nomado.
Some of the newest European innovations were available to view at the European Motorhomes site, from new Roller Team models to full redesigns of the Pegaso and T-Line range.
Beyond the vehicles themselves, the show delivered a comprehensive look at the innovations shaping modern RV travel. Exhibitors packed the halls with cutting-edge accessories and technology, from solar solutions and power management systems to clever storage, comfort upgrades and outdoor gear, all designed to enhance self-sufficiency and ease of travel.
Just as importantly, the Covi SuperShow offered visitors the rare opportunity to compare a wide range of leading brands side by side, talk directly with industry experts, and experience the latest products firsthand – all under one roof.
The result was an energetic, idea-filled event that not only showcased where the RV sector is heading, but inspired plenty of future adventures too.
