Mount Maunganui-based Country RV is set for another busy year. The business, which acquired On The Way RV towards the end of 2017, has recently moved to a larger new premises.
Now located at 36E MacDonald Street, Mount Maunganui, the new premises includes a six bay workshop, a showroom for more than dozen RVs, a fully sealed display yard, and new enlarged accessory shop (opening later this year).
“When we moved to our current yard four years ago, we thought we had future-proofed ourselves,” Country RV’s owner, Rob Axton says. “We simply could not have predicted the growth our industry has encountered over the last few years.
“Our workshop business has grown from strength to strength and now provides a service and repair facility to many suppliers, rental operators, and insurance companies, let alone preparing all of Country RV’s sales for handover to their new owners. Providing the highest possible level of choice and service to our clients has always been a key driver in our business.”
And that’s not all that’s been going on at Country RV. The team now includes a dedicated customer services representative. Swiss-born Rolfe Gsteiger is a former aircraft engineer with a passion for all things RV related. Rolfe’s new role sees him conducting all RV handovers as well as being on call to answer technical and operational queries.
As New Zealand’s largest Leisureline and Southern Star dealer, Country RV has been further strengthening their relationship with the Hamilton-based manufacturer. The recent Covi Caravan and Motorhome Supershow saw the launch of the latest product, the stunning Ford Transit based AutoHaus RV motorhome with more exciting projects planned for the future.
