Freedom RV announces joint venture with AMH

The alliance will allow South Island customers to view motorhomes from Auto-Trail, Benimar and Auto Sleeper year round in Christchurch, and will give AHM customers a central location for all their service and assistance requirements as they travel the South Island.

Dan Monk, owner of AHM, has been working with Neil and Kate Whithear of Freedom RV as a service centre since November 2012, and the new joint venture will see Freedom RV showcasing the new 2013 European models, seen at the recent Ashburton Show, at their showroom on Ferry Road in Christchurch.

Freedom RV was established in 1984. Neil Whithear says, "The style, finesse and current currency benefits of the European products complement our existing range. European motorhomes tend to be more compact in nature and appeal to those who may have been previously intimidated by the idea of a big motorhome. They can easily be driven into and around towns and are a pleasure to drive on the open roads."

The new models will range in size from 6.5m to 8.8m and will be priced from $139,000 to $220,000.
