A perfect fit, Benimar has been producing motorhomes for nearly 40 years and like TrailLite, is an undisputed leader in the motorhome market.
The originality of their creations, range choices and value is backed with a double approval ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 warranty, assuring New Zealanders of the quality and reliability of their motorhomes. TrailLite’s nationwide support and over 60 years’ experience completes the service and support package.
TrailLite will be offering a fresh alternative with Benimar’s Mileo range, with innovative design features including drop down beds for efficient use of space in many models. Seven models are initially available, including three floorplans under six metres in length. The Mileo range offers all the benefits of a luxury motorhome, but at a price usually associated with cheaper entry level motorhomes.
Based on the new Fiat Euro 5+ chassis with a 150bhp engine and 6 speed automatic transmission as standard, the Benimar Mileo models offer responsive performance and solid fuel efficiency. All models are specified with driver and passenger airbags, automatic lights and wipers, reversing camera, TV and satellite dish, 140 watt solar panel and 127 litres of fresh water as standard, ensuring these will be New Zealand’s best value motorhomes.
A habitation door on the passenger side so it doesn’t open into traffic was non-negotiable for TrailLite from the start. Entry doors opening in to traffic are outlawed in markets such as Germany and Australia and Benimar shared TrailLite’s concerns. As a result a special right hand drive model is being produced with this key safety feature included.
The Benimar Mileo range joins the luxury New Zealand-built TrailLite models, motorhomes from the British manufacturer Auto-Sleepers and Bailey caravans, also from the UK. This gives TrailLite a comprehensive range of products available from either their Pukekohe or Christchurch branches.
Benimar Mileo motorhomes start from $132,000 and are available from mid-October.
