Last month, AMH expanded their premises, with the lease of a second yard located directly opposite their current Creek Street location. The new yard will become home to AMH’s workshop and New Age Caravans Auckland. Dan says that New Age Caravans have some exciting new models on the way, including a competitively priced 19-foot slide-out. The new models will be on display at the Covi show in March next year.
“There are some pretty exciting innovations happening with New Age, which visitors to the show will be able to see first-hand.”
AMH owner Dan Monk imports the hugely popular Auto-Trail motorhome range. This year’s range features a number of new innovations, including a touch screen PC unit specifically made for New Zealand, which once coded, can be remotely accessed by an AMH technician in the event of a problem.
“For example, if an owner is driving in Invercargill and has an engine problem, it’s a simple case of our technician connecting to the motorhome’s computer to see exactly what’s going on.
It eliminates those complicated phone calls that can be very time-consuming and frustrating,” Dan says. This new innovation will be available in all new Auto-Trails that arrive at AMH over the coming weeks and months.
As well as expansions to the premises, AMH has also expanded their team with a new salesperson joining this month. With bigger premises and extra staff, Dan says AMH is able to offer better, more personalised service for their customers and to keep up with the increasing demand for their range of highly sought-after motorhomes.
