Since its first vintage in 1975, Matawhero has produced many excellent and often adventurous wines. Purchased by the Searle family in 2008, all of Matawhero’s wines are made in Gisborne’s state-of-the-art GisVin contract winemaking facility. Point Bush Estates, Canterbury

Point Bush Estates is a boutique family-owned B&B (Te Kiteroa Lodge), vineyard, winery, cellar door, and restaurant (Vines). Owned by Ann and Gary Dennison, the vineyard is located on the east side of the Waimate hills and offers visitors a gorgeous piece of paradise in the Hunter Hills of South Canterbury.
