Marlborough Food & Wine Festival: 10 February
Held at the beautiful Brancott Estate in Blenheim, this festival is an absolute must-do for wine lovers, offering an opportunity to sample a selection of world-class wines and fantastic local cuisine. Nelson Wine & Food Festival: 18 February
Enjoy a great family day out in Brightwater with gourmet food stalls, award-winning wine, beer and cider and children’s entertainment. All funds raised will be returned to local community organisations. Plenty of parking is available for motorhomes.
Whangarei Fritter Festival: 10 March
Who doesn’t love a good fritter? Enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled day at Toll Stadium in Whangarei with great music and a feast of fine wines and gourmet fritters from our region's finest local restaurants and wineries. Certified self-contained RV parking available at Cobham Oval Carpark.
Hokitika Wild Foods Festival: 9–11 March
Take a walk on the wild side at the Hokitika Wild Foods Festival! Along with the usual festival goodies—whitebait fitters, game meats, gourmet sausages, and more—the festival is renowned for its wild treats such as huhu grubs, mountain oysters, crocodile bites, scorpions, and worms. North Canterbury Wine & Food Festival: 11 March
Set under the beautiful oaks of Glenmark Domain, the North Canterbury Wine & Food Festival is a great day out for all ages. Enjoy a delicious range of local wines from winemakers and growers of the region, dig into produce from some of the town’s favourite foodies, tap your toes to live music, and immerse yourself in everything that makes North Canterbury the coolest little wine region in the country.

Bluff Oyster & Food Festival: 26 May
Ok, so it’s not until May when summer is well gone, but we just couldn’t leave this one off the list! Thousands of oyster lovers countrywide will be flocking to Bluff at the end of May to partake in a seafood fest like no other. And it’s not just oysters, but whitebait, crayfish, paua, scallops, and more. It’s almost enough you make you look forward to winter!
