New launch: Eura Mobil

New launch: Eura Mobil

If you’ve spent any time in the motorhome world, the name Eura Mobil will likely sound familiar

This German marque, renowned for its precision engineering, handcrafted quality, signature design, and superior winter-ready construction, first made its way to New Zealand in 2017. Though its introduction was understated, it left a lasting impression before the Auckland-based importer eventually stepped away from the market a few years later.

Fast forward to 2025, and the brand is making its return – reintroduced by Christchurch-based Infinity RV, with an expanded lineup and full national support network.

So ,what makes Eura Mobil worth a second look – and why has Infinity RV decided now’s the time to bring it back? Claire Smith takes a closer look.

Infinity RV: Driving innovation from the south

Infinity RV is the new Eura Mobil distributor in New Zealand

Daniel Yeoh has been around motorhomes for over a decade – first buying and selling UK caravans, then expanding into European brands like Bürstner. Over time, he’s built Infinity RV into a well-regarded Christchurch dealership known for quality models and hands-on support.

But it wasn’t until a few years ago that the idea of securing a brand of his own began to take shape.

“I started going to the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon every year,” he explains. “It’s where all the major motorhome manufacturers from around the world showcase their new models.”

Daniel began seriously exploring how to bring something new to the New Zealand market – a brand with proven build quality, but no current representation here. That’s when Eura Mobil caught his attention.

“I’d been talking with the factory on and off for nearly three years,” he says. “They mainly build for the European market, but they do a small number of right-hand-drive units for the UK. Getting them to commit to building for New Zealand was a slower process, but eventually they said yes, and we made it work.”

Infinity RV is now the exclusive authorised distributor for Eura Mobil in New Zealand, and for Daniel, it’s not just another name on the lot.

“These aren’t built for quick turnover. They’re built to last. You can feel it the moment you step inside.”

Why Eura Mobil? What sets it apart

Light and spacious interiors are a key drawcard of the Eura Mobil Profila RS design

With no shortage of European motorhomes already on offer in New Zealand, Eura Mobil had to earn its place. For Daniel and the team at Infinity RV, it came down to the details – and the philosophy behind the build.

“These models aren’t built in huge volumes,” says Daniel. “Eura Mobil only produce around 2000 units a year, and they’re assembled by hand, not on an automated line. There’s a really deliberate, careful approach to how they’re put together.”

Daniel says that when he toured the factory in Sprendlingen earlier this year, he was struck by how calm and focused the production floor was. “It wasn’t noisy or rushed, just a small team working carefully on each vehicle,” he says. “You could tell every part of the build was being double-checked as it went. It gave me a lot of confidence in what they’re producing.”

That careful build process shows up in features that matter, especially for those travelling year-round or heading off grid.

One of the most distinctive is Eura Mobil’s double-floor construction – a design that adds both insulation and hidden storage, helping regulate interior temperature while giving you space for gear, tanks, and heating systems without cutting into living space.

That insulation is no afterthought.

“The whole structure is insulated – floor, walls, roof, the lot,” Daniel says. “You can park up in really cold conditions and still be toasty and warm inside. They’re ideal for South Island winters.”

The build quality doesn’t stop there. Eura Mobil motorhomes are also timber-free, with a full GRP (fibreglass) body, making the structure rot-proof and less prone to long-term damage. Every model includes a 10-year water ingress warranty and a 3-year furniture guarantee, reflecting the brand’s confidence in its construction standards.

And then there’s the payload. If you’ve got a stack of gear to carry, you won’t be disappointed.”

“The Profila RS 720 EB, for example, is on a 4.4-tonne chassis and gives you over 1200 kg of payload to work with,” says Daniel. “That makes a big difference. You can carry what you need without constantly watching your weight.”

It’s this blend of comfort, practicality, and long-haul durability that Daniel believes will resonate with New Zealand buyers, especially those looking to spend more than just the occasional long weekend on the road.

The line-up

New launch: Eura Mobil

Infinity is starting with a carefully selected line-up of Eura Mobil motorhomes, each chosen for its relevance to Kiwi travellers – whether you’re touring as a couple or road-tripping with the whole family.

Profila RS: Long-haul comfort for couples (and the occasional guest)

The Profila RS range rides on the tried-and-true Fiat Ducato maxi chassis and brings in all the Eura Mobil hallmarks, including double-floor construction, solid insulation, and clever storage. They’re built with longer trips in mind, whether that’s a few weeks on the road or something more full-time.

There are a few layout options to suit different travel styles, but the focus across the board is the same: comfort, practicality, and all-season usability.

The Profila RS 720 EB features two rear single beds that can be used separately or joined to create a large double. It also includes a flush-mounted drop-down bed above the lounge, ideal for the occasional guest, along with a separate shower and toilet, good-sized kitchen, and more than 1,275kg of payload capacity.

Prefer an island bed? The Profila RS 720 QF offers the same footprint and features but swaps the singles for a rear island bed, giving easier access from both sides. “Island beds are the most popular option,” says Daniel. “People like being able to get in and out from both sides. They’re easy to use, and it just feels more like a ‘real’ bedroom.”

Active One: Family-focused functionality

New launch: Eura Mobil

The Active One range takes a slightly different approach. It’s still built to Eura Mobil’s high standards, but with a more practical, family-friendly feel, and a sharper price point to match. These are great options for travellers who need extra space for kids or guests, without going up to a full-sized coach.

The standout is the Active One 690 HB, a six-berth model that packs in a transverse double bed at the rear, a full-sized bed above the cab, and a convertible dinette.

And at just under seven metres, it’s surprisingly compact for how much it fits in.

For those after something a little smaller, the Active One 650 HS fits the bill. It’s a four-berth model with two fixed beds, a smartly designed living space, and no overcab, making it well suited to couples or small families who want a bit more room without the bulk.

Xtura: Built for adventure

New launch: Eura Mobil

The Xtura is a new addition to the Eura Mobil line-up, and it’s built for travellers who like to venture beyond the sealed roads. Based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 chassis, it features all-wheel drive, extra ground clearance, and all-terrain tyres, giving it serious off-road credentials.
But rugged doesn’t mean rough. Inside, it’s still very much a Eura Mobil – well-insulated, cleverly laid out, and fitted with the same high-quality finishes you’ll find across the range. It also includes extra gear storage, external tie-down points, and a fully winterised setup for year-round adventure.
This is the model for those who want to get out there, whether that’s gravel tracks, alpine parks, or a remote DOC site at the end of a long dirt road.

Service, support & what’s next

Buying a motorhome is a big commitment, and Daniel knows it doesn’t end when the keys are handed over. One of his priorities in reintroducing Eura Mobil to New Zealand has been ensuring that buyers have confidence in the ongoing support network.

“Even though we’re based in Christchurch, our warranty support is nationwide,” says Daniel. “We’ve got trusted partners across the country who we work closely with.”

That network means Eura Mobil owners can access servicing, parts, and warranty work without needing to drive to the South Island – a key consideration for anyone travelling extensively or living on the road. Warranty claims are handled locally, with support directly from the Infinity RV team, making the process straightforward.

Looking ahead, Daniel says more models are expected to arrive throughout 2025, and the team is already preparing for the 2026 Christchurch Motorhome Show, where several Eura Mobil motorhomes will be on display. It’s a chance for buyers to walk through the vehicles in person and get a feel for what sets them apart.

“We wanted to bring in something that we could really stand behind,” he says. “Something that people could take seriously, not just for a summer holiday, but for the kind of travel Kiwis really enjoy.”

With a solid local support network, a growing lineup of models, and more on the horizon, Eura Mobil is back and this time, it’s for the long haul. 
