Serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 8 tamarillos, peeled
- ½ cup Stones Ginger Wine
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 packet gingernut biscuits, crushed into small bits
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup of your favourite muesli (we use Delish brand)
- ½ cup flour
- 100g butter
- Whipped cream, to serve
Method
- Preheat oven to 175.
- Cut peeled tamarillos in half and place in a small ovenproof dish.
- Pour over ginger wine and maple syrup.
- In a separate bowl, combine gingernuts, brown sugar, muesli and flour.
- Grate in butter.
- Using your hands, combine butter into dry mixture until resembles breadcrumbs.
- Layer crumble over the tamarillos.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until crumble is golden.
- Serve with whipped cream.
