When it comes to desserts, don’t mess with perfection – grab a pav base from the supermarket and pile on the deliciousness.
SERVES 4-6
Ready in 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 store-bought pavlova
- 250g thickened cream
- 3 drops vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons brandy (optional)
- 1 tub each strawberries, blueberries, cherries, raspberries, any summer fruit
you like
METHOD:
- Empty thickened cream, vanilla extract and brandy into a bowl. Stir until mixed, then pile on top of the pavlova (don’t worry if it spills to the side – it’s still just as tasty!).
- Wash fruit, and cut larger berries into segments. To make the strawberry top, find a strawberry with a good stem still intact, and use a sharp knife to cut through almost to the top. Press lightly with your hand to create the fan.
- Pile fruit on top of your pavlova, drizzle with runny honey and serve.
