Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon icing sugar, plus extra to serve
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup, plus extra to serve
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 thick slices white bread
- 1 punnet strawberries
- 1 punnet blueberries
Method
- In a large flat bowl add eggs, milk, sugar and maple syrup and whisk to combine.
- Pour oil onto preheated barbecue flat plate. Place bread into egg mixture, turning over once and place onto hot plate. Cook 1 minute each side or until golden and crisp. Repeat with remaining bread.
- To serve, top with fresh berries, a drizzle of maple syrup and a dusting of icing sugar.
