Enjoy this bevy of fresh gin cocktail recipes, shared by award-winning New Zealand artisan gin maker Juno (junogin.com). Based in New Plymouth, and harnessing pure Taranaki mountain water and fresh, local hand-selected botanicals, Juno is adding its unique dash of creativity to gin flavour profiles.

Summer’s Kiss

Perfect on a summer evening

Ingredients

  • 30ml Juno Extra Fine
  • 15ml Limoncello
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 15ml honey syrup (2:1 honey and boiling water)
  • 90ml tonic water
  • Ice
  • Rose Petals and Mint

Method

  • Squeeze lemon juice into glass, add a large scoop of ice. Add Juno Extra Fine Gin, Limoncello and tonic water.
  • Stir ingredients. Add honey syrup to taste. Garnish with rose petals and mint, pinching mint to disburse mint essence.

Juno Iced Tea

A fresh take on the classic iced tea

Ingredients

  • Juno Extra Fine Gin
  • Black tea (1 bag to 200mls boiling water)
  • 20mls Pimms
  • Lemon
  • Mint

Method


  • Prepare your black tea with boiling water and set aside to cool. When tea has cooled, add it to a tall glass with ice. Add the Extra Fine Gin, Pimms, squeezed wedge of lemon, and 3 mint leaves. Stir and enjoy.
  • Not sweet enough for you? Add sugar to your liking.

Fiddler’s Green

A delightfully zesty and refreshing summery cocktail

Ingredients

  • 45ml Juno Extra Fine Gin
  • 20ml Honey it’s Thyme Vermouth
  • 4 Thyme Sprigs
  • 2 Cucumber slices
  • 4 Lemon wheels
  • Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water

Method

  • In a tall glass add Juno Extra Fine Gin, Honey it’s Thyme Vermouth, 3 Thyme Sprigs, Cucumber, and Lemon wheels. Top with Ice. Add with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water and stir. Garnish with a Thyme sprig.
