Collingwood Cranberry

If ever there’s a month to try a new cocktail recipe, it’s February – the month of romance and love. Practice ahead of time if you like (any excuse for a lovely evening tipple) to perfect this refreshing delight.

The recipe and ingredients are from Kiwi Spirit Distillery, a family-owned distillery in Golden Bay. Nestled between two spectacular National Parks, there’s a strong focus on producing spirits ‘from garden to glass’ here with almost all ingredients coming directly from the region and some even grown onsite in the gardens and orchards of the 25-acre distillery and cellar door.

Collingwood Cranberry

The Collingwood Cranberry has become a firm favourite of Golden Bay locals, and its popularity is spreading. This cocktail is all about the cranberry juice. It needs to be a nice tart cranberry juice; not too sweet or syrupy. Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice is a good option for this easy-drinking cocktail.

In a cocktail jug full of ice add:

  • 30ml Kiwi Spirit’s Premium Vodka
  • 15ml Lime Liqueur
  • 60ml Cranberry Juice
  • Stir then strain into a martini glass and enjoy
