Golden Dram

Whisky and prosecco? Absolutely. The prosecco bubbles really help enhance the flavour of the whisky. If you’ve got a slice of lemon handy, adding a twist of citrus really finishes the whole thing off.

INGREDIENTS

  • 45ml whisky
  • 1 sugar cube
  • Couple of dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Ice (optional)
  • Lemon slice (optional)
  • 200ml prosecco

METHOD

  1. Place the sugar cube in a glass and drop the Angostura bitters onto it so the sugar melts.
  2. Add the scotch, stir lightly, add ice (if required) and top with prosecco.
