Whisky and prosecco? Absolutely. The prosecco bubbles really help enhance the flavour of the whisky. If you’ve got a slice of lemon handy, adding a twist of citrus really finishes the whole thing off.
INGREDIENTS
- 45ml whisky
- 1 sugar cube
- Couple of dashes of Angostura bitters
- Ice (optional)
- Lemon slice (optional)
- 200ml prosecco
METHOD
- Place the sugar cube in a glass and drop the Angostura bitters onto it so the sugar melts.
- Add the scotch, stir lightly, add ice (if required) and top with prosecco.
