Easter Mimosa

There’s no such thing as a bad time for a mimosa, but Easter is definitely one of the good ones! A good, classic mimosa of sparkling wine, vodka and orange juice is always delicious; for this recipe we’ve added a tiny touch of carrot juice in homage to the perennial favourite, the Easter Bunny.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750ml sparkling wine (prosecco or cava are great)
  • 50ml Grand Marnier
  • 500ml fresh orange juice
  • 250ml carrot juice

METHOD

  1. Pour the sparkling wine into a large pitcher half-filled with ice.
  2. Add the Grand Marnier, orange juice and carrot juice.
  3. Stir well, and pour into champagne glasses.

Top Tip

When making mimosas, always add the sparkling wine first, and aim for equal amounts of wine to juice. For extra citrus flavour, swap out fresh orange juice for blood orange juice.
