Blackberry bramble

Berry Bramble

Blackberries and boysenberries are fantastic in drinks; they are even tastier if you went and foraged for your own!

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup fresh blackberries or boysenberries
  • 60ml gin
  • 20ml runny honey or maple syrup
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Ginger ale or soda water
  • Fresh berries and mint, to garnish

METHOD

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle your berries, gin, maple syrup or honey and lemon juice until the berries are nicely smooshed and juicy. Using a sieve or muslin, strain liquid to remove seeds. Pour over ice into a short glass, garnish with berries and mint and serve.
