Being on the road at Christmas can mean a change in customary festive concepts. Jill Marshall recollects some December days that may not be traditional — but they were great fun.
Unlike most of the rest of the world, Christmas in New Zealand is (hopefully) a sunny affair. Yes, we still sing about Frosty the Snowman, we hang snowflakes on the trees and we make sure the cranberry sauce is on hand – but while we enjoy those traditions, we have a fair few of our own too.
