Few countries can rival New Zealand’s spectacular scenery. PanoramaKnife New Zealand celebrates that beauty through a collection that’s as practical as it is distinctive.
Originally inspired by a Swiss concept, PanoramaKnife’s New Zealand collection celebrates the country’s breathtaking alpine scenery through a range of striking kitchen and cheese knives.
Each blade’s cutting profile mirrors a distinctive silhouette of a beloved landmark, including Wānaka’s mountain ranges and the majestic peaks of Aoraki/Mount Cook, creating a functional work of art that tells a distinctly Kiwi story.
Behind the venture are Wānaka locals Rik and Juliet Deaton. As owners of LandEscape Wānaka and passionate ambassadors for the Aotearoa lifestyle, the couple were invited to develop the New Zealand range, jumping at the chance to showcase the landscapes they know and love.
Adding another layer of local creativity, each knife is presented in packaging featuring original artwork commissioned from a talented Wānaka artist. The result is a product that celebrates not only New Zealand’s natural beauty, but also the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the people who call these landscapes home.
With new designs on the horizon, including a Queenstown-inspired knife and a “Best of New Zealand” bread knife, PanoramaKnife continues to prove that great design can be both practical and deeply connected to place. View the full range at panoramaknife.co.nz
